Releases · 13 Sep to 30 Sep 2026
9 releases, oldest on the left. Every 2027 draft still rests on some assumptions, and says which.
A fixture the model built from scratch through all five steps.
Alternative
A fixture built alongside another in the same release. One declared setting differs, such as the calendar or a preference strength.
Operator edit
A person pins one or more match details with a reason, then the model rebuilds the fixture around them. The new version records its earlier version and a comparison of changes.
As played
A real season (2025) loaded into the model so it can be compared with and edited. Not generated; its facts are the AFL's.
Rebuilt after rule changes
The model builds a fresh fixture after rules change. It links to the previous release’s headline version. Differences come from rule changes, rather than a human edit.
Alternative to
Generated alongside the parent in the same release, differing in one declared setting.
Edited from
Made from the parent by an operator's locks, with the fixture rebuilt around them.
Based on the season as played
The model's own replay of a real season, used as the base for a demonstration edit.
A versionOne published fixture, frozen the moment it is published and carrying a unique fingerprint. is kept exactly as it was published, never overwritten. Every 2027 draft still rests on some assumptions (for example, Saturday pay-TV windows carried forward from 2025), and each version's page says which. Only "Breaks a rule" means a checked rule was not met. Each card's "Details" gives the catalogue label and the short id that names the version on its evidence page.
Where the latest version (Realism: prime time spread fairly) came from

Compare any two versions
Pick an older and a newer version. A recorded comparison exists for every version and its parent; for any other pair the site says so rather than computing one.
