Who plays whom twice?
With 23 games against 17 opponents, every club meets six of them twice. Each arc joins a pair that plays twice.
How to read this
One club's arcs are lifted at a time: your highlighted club, or else the club listed first. Hover or focus another club to lift its six arcs, and hover an arc for the two rounds and who hosts each.
Why these six? The double-up rule starts from the previous season's final ladder and splits it into ladder thirds The three groups of six the weighted rule makes from last season's ladder.: the top six, the middle six and the bottom six. A club plays a few clubs from its own third twice and one or two from each of the other thirds, so no club gets all its repeat games against the strongest or the weakest teams. In the rule's words: Last season’s ladder divides clubs into three groups of six. Each club normally has two or three double-ups within its group and one or two in each other group. From 2026, up to four within its own group are allowed, with a preference for no more than three.
Clubs below run in the order they finished in 2026. The coloured strip beside each club shows where its six repeat opponents finished: dark for the top six, mid for the middle six, light for the bottom six.
Which ladder. This version used the finals-reseeded ladder: the final order once the finals were played, so the premier is first. The basis changed between releases: the 8 releases from “First complete modelled 2027 preview” to “B011 closeout” used the home-and-away ladder instead. Read from this release’s season settings.
